On Wednesday (Feb.4) members of the Krewe of 'tit Rex, New Orleans' marvelous miniature Carnival parade, provided a preview sample of four tiny hand-built floats and an assortment of mini throws. The 'tit Rex parade takes place Saturday (Feb. 7) at 5 p.m. in the Marigny neighborhood during Mardi Gras 2015.
One of floats featured an absurdist take on paleontology, arguing that the mighty Tyranosaurus Rex's nearest descendant is the humble chicken. The float poses the question: What if an ordinary chicken somehow laid an egg containing a throwback carnivorous dinosaur?
