Mardi Gras 2022!!

Should we cross our fingers?  Let’s just say we are all hoping for the best and leave it at that!

Sooooooooo….. let’s all plan to get together for a long-overdue tiny-bration on Sunday, February 13th, at 4:30pm!

This year’s theme has been signed, sealed… but not yet revealed. That will happen after January 6th, and the (official) start of Mardi Gras, Twelfth Night and the Jeanne d’Arc Parade.  It’s not too much to ask, just hold tight. (UPDATE: Little did you know the 2022 theme is “Little Did We Know”!)

The parade route will be the same as in past years — our famous tour de force. We begin on the neutral ground of St. Roch Avenue at Marais Street, rolling out promptly at 4:30pm, hopefully shine… we’ve done it in the rain and it’s absolutely no fun.  The route goes to St. Claude, then Music Street, down to Franklin, right on Royal then up to Mandeville, Burgundy, Marigny and ends at the All Ways Lounge.  Check back here for any changes or last-minute switcheroos before parade day.

Covid-19 precautions will remain in effect, so please be courteous and responsible if you plan on coming out this year.  ‘tit Rəx, its board, and all its participating members want to roll in a safe and respectful way.  Please check back here for instructions and/ or precautions for our 2022 roll.

The official poster, route map, and theme will be announced here after January 6th, 2022!
